HOME

Welcome to United Tennis Academy. We are located in Bradenton, Florida - the hotbed of tennis in the sunshine state. Owners Jeff Russell and Gabriel Trifu started United with two courts and only themselves as coaches. Today, United Tennis Academy resides at United Tennis Club at El Conquistador which offers 21 tennis courts and a full service club house.

Jeff Russell explains how United Tennis Academy has grown so consistently: "Through our own life and professional experiences, we have come to understand that the complete athlete comes only in conjunction with a disciplined mind, body, and spirit. At United we train athletes to be physically strong, fast and to possess sound technique. However, we also strive for them to be proud and confident individuals in life. Because each athlete comes from their own distinct background, and each has a different level of talent, our task is to identify their strengths and weaknesses, both physical and mental, and help them improve. This is the formula which supports their desire to grow and become champions.

Using all of the resources available to us, we develop winners both on and off the court. We pride ourselves on our experience and expertise in dealing with students from all walks of life and levels of ability. This gives us a unique perspective of the needs of each player, and how to guide them in order to reach their full potential. We encourage parental involvement. When parents engage in their child's training in a constructive manner, and in cooperation with the coach, much more is achieved. We especially value our players educators. What happens in the classroom often transfers to the court and vice versa. We work closely with the educators from the various schools our athletes attend to make sure they excel both on the court and in the classroom.

This collaboration between student, coach, parent, and educator is embodied in our name "United" Tennis Academy. We are united with genuine dedication and determination, taking pride in our work, believing we can have a positive impact on the future of our students both on and off the court. Through this philosophy we teach our students to "Train For Life."
